Although it took me over a year to finish, the CD changer is now complete and working. The changer connects to a computer and automatically loads and unloads a CD drive. I have used the changer to store my entire CD collection on my computer's hard drive. The hardware is a combination of some old servos and part of an inkjet printer. These are currently controlled by a Cerebellum, which is in turn controlled by computer via the serial port. The controller will become a PIC when I have the time to move all of the electronics off of my breadboard and onto something permanent. Pictures and specs/code coming soon. Video available at here
